How-to-Ride Classes

Registration: $40 

How-to-Ride classes are open to everyone, regardless of age.  Each session will be a maximum of one hour long.  If additional sessions are required, they will be provided for free.  My goal is to get you riding!  

Each participant should arrive with their own bike in working order and a helmet

The session will include the following: 

1. Review parts of the bike and basic safety rules 

2. On-bike drills

On-Bike Smart Cycling Classes

Registration: $75

The Smart Cycling session will cover the on-bike portion of the Smart Cycling curriculum only, and is open to everyone age 14 and up.  E-bikes are welcome!  Participants must email proof of a Smart Cycling Exam passing score (85% or better) to elisabet@esw.one before the on-bike class.  To access the classroom materials and exam, go to  https://learn.bikeleague.org/smart-cycling-3.   

Each participant should arrive with their own bike in working order and helmet.  Bicycles should be equipped with a white headlight and a red taillight.  Reflective gear is strongly recommended.  

The session will include the following: 

1. Brief review of the classroom material 

2. On-bike drills

3. Group ride (casual pace with frequent stops) 

4. Dinner (included)

5. Safety instruction in riding without daylight

Certificates of Completion will be provided to graduates.
